Hélder Folgado (Madeira, 1983) lives and works in Funchal. He earned a degree in Sculpture from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Porto, completing his master's degree at the same institution in 2009. His artistic practice revolves around human geography and the mechanisms of cultural and community transmission, exploring and combining various expressive media such as drawing, sculpture, installation, and photography.
