Derek Besant (born 1950) is a Canadian artist based in Calgary, Alberta, who has been creating prints, watercolors, and large-scale artworks—exhibited in shows and public art projects in Canada and abroad—since the 1980s. Since the mid-1990s, he has worked with new photographic imaging technologies to create experimental prints and print-based installations.
