Alexandra Haeseker is a distinguished Canadian painter, printmaker, and installation artist, widely recognized for her role in the transition to contemporary realism in Canada during the 1970s. Born in Breda, the Netherlands, in 1945, she emigrated to Calgary, Alberta, in 1955, where she established her artistic and academic career.
